As we approach the end of 2011, I would like to personally thank Middlesex Eye Physicians Physicians and Staff for their wonderful generosity! The physicians donated their time to wonderful causes such as Health Fairs: Dr. Luskind with the Lions Club and Dr. Mascarenhas educating our senior community at local health fair. Dr. Raji along with staff donated generously to the Habitat for Humanity.
other Events included:
* Amazing Grace / St Vincent DePaul: food drive donations. Our patients who brought in food for the drive, benefited by receiving a % off their eye glass purchase. MEP graciously offered a drawing for one lucky team member to receive a paid day off!
* Breast Cancer Awareness: MEP has supported the cause for over 5 years allowing teammates to wear Jeans with their donation. We submit all donations to Susan Komen Foundation and Lee Nations Denim Day.
* St. Patrick Jean Day and Pot Luck: Staff gathered together to enjoy a great meal and wear their nice jeans. Chef Steven made great Corn Beef and Cabbage.
* Hot Dog Day, Sundaes on Tuesday, and Staff Holiday Party are some other staff appreciation events.
* Lions Club: Eye Glass donations from patients and teammates allow our community the gift of frames for glasses.
* The Giving Tree: This year, we are participating with the Middletown Parks and Recreation Department to enable the less fortunate a gift during the Holiday.
