Schedule an eye exam with a CT based ophthalmologist today. Middlesex Eye Physicians is dedicated to your total eye health.
A comprehensive eye examination by your ophthalmologist is an evaluation of your overall eye health, and should be scheduled just as you would a physical with your primary care physician. Middlesex Eye Physicians are all board certified, respected leaders in the filed. No matter which doctor you visit, you will see an experienced ophthalmologist, CT - based, and dedicated to excellence.
Your eye MD (ophthalmologist) evaluates your eyes and can determine whether you simply need an eyeglass prescription or have a medical eye problem. Your ophthalmologist will also check new patients for color vision deficiency and depth perception.
Your exam will evaluate any medical conditions such as Diabetes, Lupus, Macular Degeneration, Multiple Sclerosis and any retinal issues associated with medical conditions. An ophthalmologist can also find problems during an exam such as cataract, glaucoma, macular degeneration or an eye turn (eye muscle evaluation).

A comprehensive eye exam, or complete eye exam, typically will take an hour plus from start to finish. You will check in with our front staff, fill out paperwork, and then be escorted into our clinical area by an experienced staff member. Once in the back area of the office you will enter our exam rooms and a qualified technician will obtain preliminary information. Your eyes will most likely be dilated. With this dilation, your ophthalmologist will view the back portion of your eyes. |
